**Welcome to Tanzania!** Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly met by your safari guide and transferred to your relaxing accommodation in Arusha town. After checking in, you'll receive a detailed briefing about the exciting 10-day itinerary, including a gear check and safety overview. Use the rest of the day to acclimate to the African atmosphere and prepare for the bush adventure that begins tomorrow.

We begin the safari proper by driving to Tarangire National Park. Known for its massive Baobab trees and stunning landscapes, Tarangire is most famous for housing the largest concentration of African elephants globally. We will conduct a full-day game drive, utilizing the Tarangire River—a magnet for wildlife, especially during the dry season—to spot large herds of elephants, buffalo, giraffe, and various antelope species, alongside resident lions and leopards.

**Morning:** After breakfast, we drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive, looking for the famous tree-climbing lions (seasonal) and the vast troops of baboons that populate the groundwater forests. **Afternoon Transfer:** We leave Manyara and begin the scenic drive towards the **Serengeti National Park**, entering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and driving through the spectacular Crater Highlands before descending onto the endless plains of the Serengeti, heading to the Central Seronera Valley for our camp.

We dedicate the entire day to exploring the **Central Seronera Valley**, the ultimate hunting ground for big cats. We will conduct extensive game drives, utilizing the iconic granite kopjes (rock outcrops) which are often used as lookout posts by lions and cheetahs. The Central Serengeti provides excellent year-round viewing of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and vast herds of resident plains game, offering a deep dive into the Serengeti ecosystem.

**Morning:** We enjoy a final, early morning game drive in the Serengeti to catch the sunrise and maximize opportunities for spotting predators before the heat of the day. **Transfer:** After breakfast, we drive out of the Serengeti and proceed back into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA). The long drive is an en-route game drive in itself. We climb the Ngorongoro Highlands and check into a lodge located either near the Crater Rim or in nearby Karatu, preparing for the spectacular crater descent the next morning.

**Morning:** We dedicate the morning to descending 600m into the **Ngorongoro Crater**. We spend the maximum permitted six hours exploring this natural wonder, aiming to complete our Big Five checklist, particularly focusing on the Black Rhino. **Transfer & Flight:** After lunch and ascending the crater wall, we transfer back to Arusha Airport (ARK). You will take a scheduled late afternoon domestic flight directly to **Zanzibar International Airport (ZNZ)**. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your relaxing beach resort.

Enjoy a full day of leisure on the tropical beaches of Zanzibar. Whether you are staying on the white sands of Nungwi, Kendwa, or Kiwengwa, the day is yours to unwind completely after the excitement of the safari. You can swim, sunbathe, read a book by the pool, or enjoy the soft ocean breeze. Full board or half board options are available depending on your resort choice.

Spend another beautiful day exploring the unique cultural and natural attractions of Zanzibar (optional activities). Highly recommended excursions include: **Stone Town Tour** (a UNESCO Heritage Site), a **Spice Tour** (to learn about the island’s famous cloves, nutmeg, and cinnamon), or a boat trip to **Prison Island** to see the Giant Aldabra Tortoises. Alternatively, you can continue relaxing at the resort or engage in watersports like snorkeling or diving.
