Morning (08:00): Pickup from Arusha and scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park. The journey offers stunning views as we descend the Great Rift Valley Escarpment. Mid-Day: Upon arrival, we immediately start a game drive, focusing on the groundwater forest where huge baboon troops and blue monkeys reside.
Afternoon Activity: After a picnic lunch, we head to the lake for a 2-3 hour Canoe Safari (seasonal/water level dependent). This provides a quiet, unique perspective, gliding past hippos, waterbucks, and a vast array of aquatic birdlife, including pelicans and pink flamingos (seasonal).

Morning Walking Safari (06:30): An early start for an exhilarating Guided Walking Safari with an armed TANAPA ranger in a designated section of the park (or adjacent conservation area). This 1.5 - 2 hour walk focuses on tracking, identifying footprints, and learning about the smaller creatures and flora you miss from the vehicle.
Late Morning Game Drive: We spend the final hours searching the acacia woodlands for the famous Tree-Climbing Lions before enjoying breakfast or an early lunch. Afternoon: Transfer back to Arusha. Your guide will drop you off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure.
